For a relaxed escape in the heart of the countryside, stay at this charming yurt which offers a memorable glamping experience on the Welsh–English border. It’s ideal for couples or small families. Set within a peaceful meadow, the property blends simple comforts with a sustainable, nature-led approach, using natural materials. Nearby, go for peaceful lakeside walks and observe local wildlife and birds at Llyn Bedydd (1.5 miles), or explore the historic parkland of Iscoyd Park (3 miles). so you can discover your surroundings at a leisurely pace. Families will enjoy Farm Adventure Shropshire (1 mile), and the nearby town of Whitchurch (6 miles) offers a selection of shops, cafés, pubs and a mainline rail station. You can also plan day hikes with gorgeous views in the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley (15 miles).
Inside, the yurt has an open-plan layout centred around a traditional wood burner to keep you all cosy. A cosy queen-size bed and a double-size pull-out sofa bed mean sleeping arrangements are flexible, with space for up to four guests. A compact cooking area within the yurt allows for light meals.
Outside, you’ll have your own private space to enjoy, including a miniature garden, seating area, BBQ, and fire pit – perfect for al fresco dining or unwinding under the stars. Near the yurt is a shed containing a larger shared kitchen with more substantial cooking facilities. This is also where you’ll find your private wet room, accessed via a key for added convenience and privacy. The shed also serves as a sociable hub, complete with games, a pool table, table tennis, comfortable seating, a wood burner and a bar area for relaxed indoor entertainment. You’re also welcome to explore the surrounding meadow, plus you’ll have on-site parking for easy arrival and departure.
