A delight for walkers and nature lovers, the farm provides access to a variety of scenic trails, including the magnificent Stock Ghyll Force (0.8 miles), Wansfell Pike (1.5 miles) and Loughrigg Fell (4.5 miles), from where there are gorgeous views over Lake Windermere. The market town of Ambleside (1.5 miles) boasts an array of shops and eateries, the remains of a Roman fort, plus an art gallery and independent cinema. From here, you can hop on a lake cruise on Lake Windermere, stopping at the tourist centres of Windermere and Bowness, and exploring the various lakeside walking routes.


Rich with original features, this beautiful stone property fuses rustic charm with modern comforts for a warm and welcoming stay. Featuring soft, neutral hues, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area is the heart of this holiday home. Set beneath heavy wooden beams, the inviting lounge has cosy seating arranged around the TV, along with a picture window with incredible views. There's a fully fitted kitchen with duck egg blue cabinets, along with a dining table seating four. When it's time to rest your head, go upstairs to find two welcoming bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, both with wonderful views. They share use of a contemporary shower room.


Outside, a patio and garden with outdoor seating are shared with the other holiday cottages, offering a peaceful spot to enjoy a morning cuppa or an evening aperitif. Guests also have complimentary access to a bookable indoor pool and sauna, while parking for two cars is provided.
