Other chocolate-box towns and villages nearby include Kersey, Lavenham, and Sudbury (all within 16 miles). For a day at the seaside, head to the coastal towns of Felixstowe (18 miles) or Aldeburgh (30 miles). Keen golfers will be in their element, with the championship course of Hintlesham on your doorstep.
