Tucked away within peaceful countryside near the North Cornwall coast, this charming single-storey cottage offers a tranquil retreat for couples looking to relax and explore. Surrounded by open fields and rural views, it provides a calming base just a short drive from the sandy beaches of Bude (3 miles) and the sweeping shores of Widemouth Bay (5 miles). The South West Coast Path runs nearby, perfect for scenic walks with far-reaching sea views, while attractions such as The Milky Way Adventure Park (18 miles) and the historic village of Tintagel (18 miles) offer rewarding days out. After a day of exploring, guests can return to the quiet comfort of this rural setting.
The accommodation is all on one level and is thoughtfully laid out for a relaxing stay. A small entrance hall leads into the open-plan kitchen and living area, where exposed beams and countryside views add character and charm. The well-equipped kitchen provides everything needed for simple self-catering, while the cosy seating area is an inviting spot to unwind, complete with a Smart TV and DVD player. From the hallway, you’ll also find a comfortable double bedroom, overlooking the surrounding fields, along with a modern shower room, making this cottage ideal for couples or those seeking an easy, step-free layout.
Outside, there’s a seating area where you can sip your morning coffee or relax in the evening while taking in the peaceful rural surroundings. During your stay, you’ll also have access to the excellent shared facilities on-site, including a heated outdoor swimming pool (open from Easter to the end of September), a hot tub and a tennis court, all adding an extra layer of enjoyment to this restful countryside escape. Private parking for one car is provided.
