15 Main Gate - Birgu

Built in the 1800s, 15 Main Gate is over a hundred years old. It is also one of the few buildings which withstood the bombings of the world war. A stone throw away from the village square, 15 Main Gate is close to amenities such as historical landmarks, restaurants, bus stations, ferry to Valletta and grocery shops. Great care has been taken to renovate the building to maintain original features such as `Xorok` (stones forming the ceiling), wooden beams and tiles.
