About this apartment rental

Summary:

Start the morning on your private lanai with Hanalei Bay on one side and Namolokama’s green slopes on the other. In the Palm Building at Hanalei Bay Resort, this air-conditioned one-bedroom, one-bath condo sleeps two and offers a relaxed, self-contained place for a couple to settle in. The kitchen is ready for breakfast or an easy dinner, the washer and dryer handle sandy clothes, and the living area opens the day up without a hotel-room feel. Walk over to one of the resort’s two pools, book a tennis court, or follow the path toward the white sand below the property. Hanalei town brings local food and shops within easy reach, while Anini Beach is a nearby option for a gentler water day. Come back to a king bed, a walk-in shower, and the kind of mountain-and-bay view that makes skipping a plan feel like the right call. This is for a couple ready to slow down and live at North Shore speed.

The Space:

The Palm Building condo pairs air conditioning in the living area and bedroom with a well-equipped kitchen, dishwasher, in-home washer and dryer, and comfortable dining space. The bedroom has a king bed, and the full bath has a walk-in shower. Its private lanai delivers the signature Hanalei Bay and Namolokama Mountain view.

Guest Access:

Guests have access to Hanalei Bay Resort's shared outdoor pool and hot tub. Paid parking is listed among the resort amenities. Some facilities are operated independently by the resort.

The Neighborhood:

Hanalei Bay Resort gives you Princeville’s lush North Shore setting above Hanalei Bay. Spend the day on the sand below the resort, then head into Hanalei for shave ice, dinner, and a slow walk through town. Anini Beach is nearby for calmer water, while the Na Pali Coast and waterfall country make a memorable day out. Back at the resort, tropical grounds, two pools, and eight tennis courts make it easy to keep the day close to home.

Getting Around:

A rental car is recommended for exploring Princeville, Hanalei, North Shore beaches, and trailheads at your own pace. Princeville Center offers nearby groceries and dining. Lihue Airport is about 40 minutes away by car. Paid parking is listed at Hanalei Bay Resort.

Other Things to Note:

Condos contain lockouts, meaning there are shared doors and sounds may be audible between connecting doors. Internet provided by Hanalei Bay Resort does not support streaming services such as Netflix or Hulu. This property is managed by Heavenly Vacations. This is a privately owned unit in a resort, so hotel style daily housekeeping is not offered.

Interaction with Guests:

Our local Heavenly Vacations Kauai team is just a call or message away throughout your stay. We are always happy to share our favorite places to enjoy on the Garden Isle, and we are here to help right away should any issue arise. We respect your privacy and are here whenever you need us.

Overall it was a great experience. The property is beautiful and very welcoming. I did have issues with the washing machine having a nasty looking dispenser. I had to wash it before I could do a load of laundry. I also thought the rooms needed a dusting, including under the bed. That being said we were very happy with everything available to us. We would definitely reserve this unit again.

Stunning view from the balcony! We spent so much time out there. The entire home was gorgeous, luxurious, and well equipped. We did most of our meals in the kitchen and it had everything we needed and more! The grounds and pool area were so beautiful as well!

Nice well appointed unit. Nice property (private beach, pools, restaurant/bar). regrading the path to the beach, its a short walk on a paved path however part are somewhat steep, one must be ambulatory or call the desk and they will send a cart for transportation. Friendly staff. Resort fee. 45 minute delay with check-in.. Apparently there is a recurring issue with Vacasa not inputing the reservation into the resort property system. Phone response was non-exisitent (leave a message). The resort manager had to reach out to local contacts.

Condo location perfect, right by path that leads to beach, great room sizes, amazing views. However told management company (unit was owned by private owner, so resort could not help us) coffee pot did not work, couch sectional was heavily stained and when I went to flip over cushions there was so much food in couch, said they would send someone out to fix. Patio furniture covered with bird droppings. Took 4 days just to get coffee pot and no cleaning crew sent ever to address anything else by Vacasa. Wooden bench in shower moldy. But enjoyed the balcony views. All of HBR is amazing.
