Guest Access:
Guests at Kulalani at Mauna Lani enjoy access to the gated community's shared pool and hot tub, along with a garage and bikes available for exploring the grounds. The beach is close by, and a garden or backyard area adds room to relax outside. It is a well-equipped, peaceful base on the Big Island's Kohala Coast.
The Neighborhood:
Kulalani is inside the Mauna Lani Resort on the Kohala Coast, where pale sand, black lava landscapes, and wide-open sunny weather set a slower Big Island rhythm. Pauoa Bay is about five minutes away for a beach day, and Mauna Lani Beach Club access adds another easy shoreline option. The Shops at Mauna Lani cover groceries, dining, and errands, while nearby golf and spa offerings give adults plenty of ways to recharge. It is a polished but family-friendly resort area with space to breathe.
Getting Around:
Kona International Airport is about 30 to 40 minutes away, depending on traffic. A rental car is recommended for reaching Mauna Lani's beaches, shops, golf, and restaurants, as well as exploring the Kohala Coast. The community has parking, and the Shops at Mauna Lani are a short drive from the home.
