About this house rental
Pack the boogie boards and beach chairs, point the car toward A-Bay, and come back to a townhome where everyone can put their feet up. This two-bedroom Waikoloa Colony Villas home sleeps six and offers the resort comforts that make a family trip feel less like logistics: a shared pool, hot tub, air conditioning, a full kitchen, dining table, barbecue grill, and in-unit washer and dryer. Waikoloa Beach Golf Course is close for the golfers, while Dolphin Quest in Waiulua Bay and the Shops at Mauna Lani offer easy alternatives for the rest of the group. The home sits on the sunny west side of Hawai'i Island, only minutes from beach time and resort dining. It is a practical, roomy choice for a family or friends who want the Big Island's warm coast within easy reach.
The Space:
The living area is set up for simple evenings after the beach, with comfortable seating, cable TV, and a nearby kitchen for snacks or a full meal. Upstairs, two bedrooms and two baths sleep up to six guests, while the dining table and outdoor barbecue make it easy to gather without a reservation. Air conditioning and a washer and dryer add welcome ease to the townhome stay.
Guest Access:
Guests at Waikoloa Colony Villas enjoy access to the community's shared pools, hot tubs, tennis courts, and fitness gym on golf-course grounds. Beach access is close by, and the complex has landscaped surroundings throughout. Please note that this home does not have garage access.
The Neighborhood:
Waikoloa Beach Resort is one of the Big Island's easiest beach bases, with sunny weather, golf greens, and lava-rock coastline close together. Anaeho'omalu Bay is nearby for sand and swimming, while Waiulua Bay offers dining and Dolphin Quest for a family outing. Kings' Shops and Queens' Marketplace make groceries, coffee, and dinner easy, and the Shops at Mauna Lani offer another nearby destination. Stay here when your group wants beach time, golf, and room to choose the day as it goes.
Getting Around:
Kona International Airport is roughly 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive up the Kohala Coast. A rental car is recommended to reach beaches, restaurants, and the resort area's shops with ease. Waikoloa Beach Resort keeps some shopping and dining walkable, while nearby beaches and Waikoloa Village are a short drive. Parking is generally available in resort lots or on site at most properties.
Other Things to Note:
Please note: an exterior painting project has started at Waikoloa Colony Villas and will continue through approximately June 2027. Each building will take about two weeks to complete, with the entire property expected to take about one year. Please note: there is no garage access. This property is managed by Heavenly Vacations.
