About this apartment rental
Wake up on Waikiki's Diamond Head side, grab a towel, and be at the beach within minutes. This high-floor corner studio sleeps four and gives a couple or small family a simple, well-placed base for the parts of Honolulu they came to enjoy. A partial view of Kapiolani Park brings a little green to the city setting, while the full kitchen and washer and dryer make casual meals and longer stays easier. The building has elevator access, and the studio is in excellent condition with cable TV for quiet nights after dinner. Outside, you are close to Waikiki's sand, surf lessons, restaurants, shops, and the walk toward the zoo and Diamond Head. Parking is first come, first served on the first floor only, Monday through Friday from 8 a. m. to 4 p. m. HST. This is for travelers who want to spend their days outside, then come back to a convenient place to recharge. Air conditioning is provided.
The Space:
This high-floor corner studio sits on the preferred Diamond Head side with a partial view of Kapiolani Park. A full kitchen makes breakfast and simple dinners easy, and cable TV helps with a quiet night in. The studio sleeps four and includes a washer and dryer, while elevator access keeps the building easy to navigate after a long day on the sand.
Guest Access:
Guests at Tradewinds Plaza enjoy building access via elevator to their downtown Honolulu unit, which has its own private entrance. The condo includes a full kitchen and laundry facilities, with no additional shared resort amenities. Easy walking access to nearby beaches and Waikiki attractions rounds out the stay.
The Neighborhood:
This side of Waikiki puts you close to the beach while nudging you toward Kapiolani Park, the Honolulu Zoo, and the trailhead area below Diamond Head. The neighborhood is built for walking: grab breakfast, take a surf lesson, browse shops, or follow the shoreline at sunset without relying on a car. Waikiki Beach supplies the classic Oahu beach day, while the park adds open green space and a calmer pause from the busy strip. It suits a couple or small family who wants beach access and Honolulu's energy right outside.
Getting Around:
Daniel K. Inouye International Airport is about 20 to 30 minutes away depending on traffic. A rental car is optional here, since Waikiki and much of Honolulu are very walkable, with rideshare and the bus system covering the rest. Beaches, shopping, and dining are often just steps or a short stroll away. Parking is typically available through hotels or paid lots rather than free street parking.
Other Things to Note:
Parking: first come first served, available Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm HST, first floor only. Parking is not allowed in the basement. This property is managed by Heavenly Vacations.
