Pet Policy: This property is NOT pet friendly. Please note: if we find an unauthorized pet in the home, we will ask for it to be removed immediately and charged an additional Non-Refundable fee of $500 and in some cases can be up to $1,000.00
Please Note: In lieu of security deposits, each Royal Realty booking includes Rental Guardian Damage Protection, a limited property protection plan, to provide peace of mind to both our guests and homeowners. We enjoyed our stay at the Waikiki Banyan. The room was clean and the kitchen, bathroom, and beach amenities were provided. All the appliances worked well, including the air conditioning. We appreciated the free parking and lack of resort fees. We were able to walk to the beach and had easy access to restaurants in Waikiki and on Kapahulu. We look forward to staying here again.

The stay was just shy of 5 stars. I'd do 4.5 if it let me. The view was AMAZING. Seeing the sun rising over diamond head was breathtaking. The place was clean (and did NOT have strong smelling cleaning supplies or air fresheners, a BIG plus for me!!), and the property manager was very nice and helpful when we needed to get in touch. Also INCLUDED PARKING. I cannot overstate how helpful and stress-free this was. 4.5 out of five because the unit is a little more rough than the listing might lead you to believe. It was CLEAN, it was just older, and showed signs of that. A couple of the wall outlets where loose and falling out (still usable), the fridge exterior was stained and flaking (interior was spotless), and the shower showed more wear and tear then we expected. It was also a little further from the beach than the listing says. About a 10 min walk, rather than 5 minutes, and about 3-4 blocks from the beach, not 1. Still a great location, still a lovely stay, and still clean and great service. The listing just paints it to be a little nicer than it is, which isn't needed - its great in its true form, and having parking included is a HUGE boon. Would 100% book again.
