About this apartment rental
Some Kauai days call for the beach. Others call for letting the kids float the lazy river while you settle into a poolside chair. This two-bedroom, three-bath Waipouli Beach Resort condo sleeps six and puts both options steps away, with oceanfront resort access, a shared pool, hot tub, lazy river, gym, and the beach close by. Inside, the full kitchen, air conditioning, and washer and dryer make family travel feel less like work. Head to Kapa'a Town for a casual dinner, visit the Wailua River for a greener inland view, or make Lydgate Beach Park your beach-day stop. Back at the resort, you can keep the evening simple with a swim and ocean air. It is a strong choice for families who want their Kauai stay to balance playtime with room to breathe.
The Space:
This two-bedroom, three-bath condo gives up to six guests a comfortable amount of space after a full day outside. The full kitchen makes group breakfasts and easy dinners straightforward, while air conditioning and a washer and dryer handle the practical side of a tropical trip. Elevator access and a balcony add ease, with the resort’s beach and pool grounds just beyond the door.
Guest Access:
Guests at Waipouli Beach Resort enjoy access to the shared heated pools, hot tub, and fitness gym, plus elevator access and beach access throughout this oceanfront Kapaa complex. Beautifully landscaped grounds and on site parking complete the resort setting. Some resort facilities are operated independently by the resort.
The Neighborhood:
Waipouli is a useful east-Kauai base because the coast, restaurants, and supplies are all close together. Kapa'a Town is good for casual dining and a stroll through local shops, while the Wailua River leads inland to Kauai’s lush side. Lydgate Beach Park gives families another place to spend time at the water. Stay here when you want a beach-and-pool rhythm at home, with enough nearby options that no one has to spend the whole vacation in the car.
Getting Around:
Kapaa sits along Kauai's Royal Coconut Coast, about 15 to 20 minutes from Lihue Airport. A rental car is recommended for exploring the island, though the main strip along Kuhio Highway is walkable, with beaches, shops, restaurants, and the popular coastal path all within easy reach on foot. Grocery stores and casual dining are close by. Parking is generally available at condos and along the street, making this an easy, low stress base.
