About this apartment rental
Let the sound of the Pacific set the schedule. This oceanfront one-bedroom condo at Kona Reef puts up to four guests just steps from the beach, with a full kitchen, air conditioning, and the ocean view waiting whenever you look up. Walk to nearby restaurants and shops, or make the short drive to Magic Sands Beach Park, Kahalu'u Beach Park, and Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park, all within five miles. After a day in the water, choose between a swim in the community pool, a soak in the hot tub, or an evening at the shared grill with the sea nearby. The washer and dryer mean you can travel lighter and reset the beach towels easily. This is Kailua-Kona at its simplest and best: water close, town close, and no need to rush. It works beautifully for a couple, a small family, or friends who want the ocean to be the main event.
The Space:
Ocean views are the heart of this 611-square-foot condo, with the beach and water just beyond the complex. Inside, the one-bedroom, one-bath layout includes a full kitchen for easy meals and two beds for up to four guests. Air conditioning is on hand for warmer afternoons, and the washer and dryer make beach days more convenient. Settle in, then let the setting do the work.
Guest Access:
Guests at Kona Reef enjoy access to the oceanfront communal pool and hot tub, plus resort grounds just steps from the beach. A private entrance and lit walkway make arrivals easy. Some resort facilities are operated independently by the resort. It is a comfortable, amenity-rich base right on the Kailua-Kona coastline.
The Neighborhood:
Kailua-Kona runs along the sunny west side of the Big Island, where Ali'i Drive follows the water past small beaches, coffee stops, and the historic center of Kailua Village. Browse the farmers market, watch boats come and go at Kailua Pier, or make a beach day of nearby Honl's Beach. South of town, Kahalu'u Beach Park is a favorite for reef snorkeling. It is an easy base for families who want beach time, local food, and a real Kona evening within reach.
Getting Around:
Kona International Airport is about 10 to 15 minutes away, making arrival simple. A rental car is recommended so you can explore the Kona Coast at your own pace. Downtown Kailua-Kona's shops, restaurants, and oceanfront Ali'i Drive are often within walking distance or a short drive, with beaches, snorkeling spots, and grocery stores close by. Parking is generally available on site or nearby, whether street or lot.
