Escape to this spacious 1,200 sq. ft. family cottage on the scenic Gull River, just off Shadow Lake. Located approximately 1.5 hours from the GTA, it’s an ideal getaway for families looking to relax, enjoy the outdoors, and spend quality time together.
Enjoy beautiful waterfront views, a large outdoor property, evenings around the fire pit, and a seasonal hot tub overlooking the water.
The Cottage
Inside, you’ll find a bright, comfortable, and fully equipped space designed for a relaxing family stay.

1 large private bunkie, perfect for additional guests or kids
Bonus sleeping/common area with a single bed, located off the kitchen with direct access to the patio and hot tub

Kid-Friendly Waterfront: A shallow waterfront area where families can enjoy the water during the warmer months.
Seasonal Hot Tub: Relax while taking in beautiful water views. The hot tub is available May, June, September, October and November only.
Waterfront Deck & BBQ: A spacious back deck overlooking the water with a BBQ and seating for outdoor meals.
Lakeside Fire Pit: Gather with family and friends in the evening and enjoy the peaceful waterfront setting under the stars.

Important Property Information
No Pets: To help maintain an allergen-friendly property, pets are not permitted unless an exception has been approved before booking.
Garbage & Recycling: Guests are required to take all garbage and recycling with them at the end of their stay. There is no on-site garbage disposal.
April Fire Ban: The Kawartha Lakes region has seasonal outdoor burning restrictions. Outdoor fires are not permitted during April where the municipal burn ban applies. Guests are responsible for following all current municipal fire regulations.
• Quite hours between 9 pm & 8 am
• No shoes in the house
• Guest should bring their own firewood and ensure fire is put out at end of use.
• Early check in or late check out can be arranged when available based on availability.
• Thank you for your thoughtfulness and consideration in leaving the cottage (inside and out) clean and tidy. For guest use, Cottage has a broom, dustpan, dish soap and vacuum
• No loud music or parties or events at anytime
• No Fireworks are allowed in the property at all times. Its against the township by-law.
• Insects and wildlife are a part of cottage country. Please discourage them by keeping doors and screens closed.
• Maximum two pets allowed.
• Pets cannot be left unattended, and we ask that you pick up after your pet.
• Please do not put anything into the toilets but into the trash cans provided in the washrooms for paper towels, Kleenex, tampons, pads, flushable wipes, hair etc
• Please clean and empty fridge, microwave, and Oven.
• Empty all garbage containers.
• There is a fire ban in the region for the month of April. Lighting an outdoor fire at this time will lead to penalties imposed by the city officials.
• GUESTS ARE TO TAKE GARBAGE AND RECYCLE BACK WITH THEM AT THE END OF THEIR STAY.
• Summer seasonal activities (dock, kayak, canoe etc) are available for guest use between Victoria Day weekend to Thanksgiving weekend.
