This stunning lakefront house offers a blend of adventure and relaxation, making it an ideal retreat for families and friends alike. With a spacious layout featuring multiple levels, this home is designed for comfort and enjoyment. Enjoy the breathtaking views of Hatter Cove off of Lake Travis. Situated on 5.4 acres of natural Texas hill country, it is a perfect location to enjoy the tranquility of country living while sitting just outside of the nation's 11th largest city (Austin).
This home was fully renovated from the studs up over the last six years and is equipped with modern appliances, including a stainless steel fridge, stove, oven, and dishwasher, making meal prep a breeze. The inviting living room features a cozy sofa situated in front of a grand fireplace and a TV that is great for family movie nights or to read a book by the fire. Encased with walls of windows, you can soak in nature's beauty over morning coffee or a full multi-course meal in the open area that connects the living, dining and kitchen areas.
The primary bedroom is outfitted with a king bed on the top floor and offers the most magnificent views of the lake you can find. The ensuite bathroom for the primary bedroom is adjoined to the room up a short set of stairs and is complimented with a sitting chair and a desk and chair.
The secondary bedrooms are on the second floor with one offering a plush queen bed and the other offering six single bunk beds. Great for the kids! These two bedrooms share a bathroom.
We believe the true magnificence of this home is in its exterior amenities. To compliment the outstanding views, the home offers two levels of decking with the upper floor bedroom offering a walk out balcony and the living room on the main floor offering a much larger version of the same. Both decks have been updated with Trex composite planks for outstanding protection against wear and tear. The home offers both a propane grill on the deck and a charcoal grill situated about 12 yards from the home. There is a third sitting area on the side of the home with cushion chairs to take in the flowing breeze. Lastly, you will find a fire pit located as you start down the steps that offer a gradual descent to the well-equipped boat dock with a slip for guests to bring or rent a boat or jet skis for your stay. One of our favorite amenities on this property are the deck chairs bolted into concrete about halfway down to the dock. Great for resting and enjoying the viewing splendor when taking the incline back up to the home!
Feeling active? We have built a makeshift disc golf course at the top of the driveway. Discs are not provided as they tend to disappear but if this is your game...bring your own! Remember...the driveway is steep so be ready for a workout if walking up to the course.
Conveniently located between Lago Vista and Point Venture the seclusion and privacy of the home are one of its greatest amenities.
Things to know
The driveway meanders down a winding, steep slope to the home. Please be cautious when navigating, especially during your initial arrival.
Texas can get quite dry at times so PLEASE DO NOT build a fire in the firepit before checking on any local burn bans. There can be steep fines for violation.
Firewood is NOT provided but can be purchased locally at the Ace Hardware Store in Lago Vista or other retailers.
