About this apartment rental
The house has three floors and has been renovated to a high standard; we’ve decorated it in a fresh, Scandinavian style. On the third floor, there’s a rooftop terrace of about 20 square meters with a dining area featuring comfortable synthetic rattan chairs, a Weber grill, and lounge chairs. From here, you’ll enjoy a pleasant view of the pool and the mountains. Just a few meters from the shared pool (open year-round) is our second terrace, where you can relax on lounge furniture. It’s a wonderful spot to relax when the shade falls in the summer afternoons.
The living room features a dining table for 6 people, a sofa set, and a TV with a wide selection of channels and Chromecast installed. There are three bedrooms (sleeps up to 6 people) with modern beds. Two of the bedrooms have comfortable double beds, and on the top floor there is a bedroom with a 105-cm-wide bed and a 90-cm single bed.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with all amenities, including a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, etc. The bathroom was completely renovated in 2025 and is of a high standard; there is also a guest bathroom with a washing machine on the first floor. The walls throughout the house were freshly painted in 2025, and there are polished marble floors throughout, giving the house a fresh and modern feel.
Our house is very centrally located yet quiet, as it doesn’t face the street. Everything is within walking distance, and on the street outside you’ll find bars, a small grocery store, padel and tennis courts, and nice restaurants—meaning you won’t need a car. There are a few parking spaces belonging to the complex, as well as free street parking.
The European Balcony is the town’s main gathering spot, and you can get there in just a few minutes via charming, car-free alleys, including Carabeo, Nerja’s main street. Along the way, you can enjoy several beautiful views of the beaches and the sea. On the Balcony of Europe, there’s often entertainment in the form of music, artists painting live, and acrobats. Every week there’s a market in Nerja featuring crafts, fruit, vegetables, and more, and it takes about 25 minutes to walk there from our house. If you’d like to take a day trip, Frigiliana—named Spain’s most beautiful village—is just a few minutes away by car or bus. There are also fantastic hiking trails here. To get to Málaga—a wonderful city—you can take the bus from Nerja; the trip takes just over an hour, and the bus station is a 10-minute walk from our house. With 320 days of sunshine a year, Nerja is a gem on Spain’s Costa del Sol, and even though this small fishing village has grown into a vacation paradise, it has retained its character with narrow alleys and cozy little beaches. Here, you can extend your summer into spring and fall and spend the winter enjoying pleasant Swedish “spring-like warmth.” If you’d like to go skiing at an altitude of 3,000 meters, it takes 1.5 hours to get to Sierra Nevada.
