If you are looking for a cozy hideaway, close to Helen GA consider this cottage. It is nicely secluded with a screened back porch. The hot tub was hot and bubbly. The grill worked very well. The cottage was well stocked and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much. WiFi worked well, as did the Roku TV. We are considering returning for Octoberfest.

Very cute and clean cabin. Perfect for a couple! No laundry as per the listing but besides that and some squeaky items, the place was great. Only 15 minutes away from Helen. Super peaceful, loved hearing the birds, sitting on the balcony and enjoying nature.

I was asked to rate the cleaning before we arrived. Upon arrival the unit was dirty. Something sticky was all across the floors and table with no mop to clean it myself. There was hair in the sink and on the counters in the bathroom. There were bugs in all the windows on the inside. Clearly not cleaned well. Thankfully the bedding seemed to be clean. I sent pictures to vacasa and they didn’t care. I then asked about late check out because we got a late start they said it wasn’t available. Then I got an email saying it was the following morning. We had spotty service and I was unable to complete that process and when I reached out to vacasa they said that it was not available and they did not see where an email had been sent to me even though I sent them a screenshot. The hot tub was missing a cover for the basin where the chemicals go. The jetted tub advertised had strange plumbing- the faucet and water pressure was not large enough to fill the tub. It took an hour and a half to get the water up to test the jets…..
I booked through Vrbo, and found that it was managed by vacasa. I would not rent with vacasa again because it seems they take customers money ( and owners to manage a property) and then do not follow through with good customer service or care about satisfaction. The area we stayed in was very pretty.
