This home is on the edge of the Chattahoochee National Forest, putting you right by great hiking, water sports, and more. The nearby Bavarian alpine village of Helen offers nearby amenities, restaurants, and shopping as well.
This inviting two-story, Sautee Nacoochee home features beautiful rock details and wood accents, creating a rustic and welcoming vibe. The comfortable living room has leather furniture, a wood-burning fireplace, and amazing floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the forest.
Next to the living area, there’s a dining space with seating for six where you can enjoy lovely group meals. In the fully equipped kitchen, you’ll have stainless steel appliances and a convenient dishwasher for easy cleanup.
Head outside for even more luxury - on the screened-in porch, there’s a gas grill and another table set for alfresco dining. Take a relaxing soak in the private hot tub, complete with LED non-heating fireplace to set the tone. For s’mores and campfire fun, there’s also a firepit in the front yard.
With two stylish master suites and two full bathrooms, this home will sleep up to six guests, plus a family dog for a small nightly pet fee. Each master suite has a king-size bed with a rustic log bed frame and an updated bath. There’s also a futon for additional sleeping options.

1) Guests must indicate in their reservation the number of dogs (not to exceed the Max Dog occupancy) and pay related pet fees to Vacasa.
2) Highcrest Summit HOA states: 'Dogs must be on a leash at all times, per Highcrest Summit HOA covenants and White County, Georgia Animal Control.'
3) Highcrest Summit HOA states: 'If your dog is reported/found to be off-leash at any time, you will be evicted from the premises immediately and forfeit all funds related to your rental stay.'
4) Highcrest Summit HOA states: 'No pit bulls or pit bull mixes allowed.'

When I arrived, the code I was originally provided did not work. I contacted the management company, and they had the code reset within about 15 minutes. This was more than likely due to the property recently being sold and taken over by a new management company.When the property changed hands, the new company notified me immediately and made sure I was aware of the change and had everything I needed through multiple emails. They were extremely quick to respond throughout the entire stay. They also allowed me to check in early since I arrived sooner than expected, which was greatly appreciated. The cabin had just about everything we needed, from body wash and laundry pods to dish detergent. Netflix was already available under an account, and there may have been other streaming services as well, but I didn’t check. The hot tub was ready to use as soon as we arrived.The property was completely quiet and peaceful. There was no noise nearby, and we saw several deer roaming around the property. One thing to note is that the cabin gets pretty cold at night, so I would recommend bringing an extra blanket.The only minor issue was that there was no outside trash receptacle, so I had to place the trash on the back balcony. I contacted the management company, and they told me that was fine. Again, I believe this was probably just an oversight due to the recent change in property management. The cabin was only about 10 minutes from Helen and was a great location. I would stay again

I'm from the Caribbean and we are not used to the mountains and trees and all of that it's a lot of concrete beaches and Wi-Fi. But here we lacked for nothing.I was blown away by the way the utility and elegance of the cottage.
The loft deck was exceptionally comfortable . The rooms had all the amenities especially the hot tub and the pool table I strongly recommend it for people who are looking for a quality getaway. We also found a German town called Helen close by. Awesome experience

The cabin and location are very nice. However, there was a roach infestation in both the kitchen and bathrooms. We informed management, who did nothing to resolve the issue. They informed us that “the house is treated quarterly for roaches.” No further communication from management. Very lazy disappointing service.
