Main level
The open living and dining room is the heart of the home: plants everywhere, Mexican textiles and folk art, and a wall of windows over the city. The kitchen has a breakfast bar for morning coffee, a balcony opens off the living and dining room, and there is a half bath for visitors.

Arrival
Every bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a hair dryer and fresh towels, and we leave a welcome treat of Mexican candies, water and beer. Guests call the home spacious, spotless and "exactly as described".
Guest Access:
The whole two-level apartment on the 9th floor is yours, including all three balconies. A doorman lets you into the building, the elevator takes you up, and a smart lock opens the apartment door for easy self check-in. The upper bedrooms are reached by an open floating staircase. There is no parking at the building; paid street parking is nearby.
The Neighborhood:
You are a 7 min walk from the Angel of Independence and 8 min from the Diana Fountain, in Colonia Cuauhtemoc just north of Reforma. Guests call the area walkable and central, with restaurants and cafes all around and an easy first visit to the city. Our favorite walks: the Anthropology Museum (24 min), Chapultepec Castle (29 min), Parque Espana (23 min) and Parque Mexico in Condesa (26 min). Roma Norte's cafes around Plaza Rio de Janeiro are about a 24 min walk or a short ride.
Getting Around:
You do not need a car. The El Angel and La Diana Metrobus stops on Reforma are a 6 min walk, Metro Sevilla is 11 min and Metro Insurgentes 17 min. Most of Reforma, Chapultepec Park and Condesa are walkable. The airport is about 10 miles away by car. If you drive, note there is no parking at the building, only paid street parking.
Other Things to Note:
• The upper level is up an open staircase with no elevator access, so the upstairs bedrooms may not suit guests who cannot use stairs.
• The building elevator is small: about 3 people (or roughly 400 lb) per trip, so groups take turns with the luggage.
• There is no parking at the building; paid street parking only.
• Security cameras in the building lobby and outside the apartment door; none inside the apartment.
• A noise decibel monitor is outside the apartment door; it measures sound levels only.
• Check-in from 4:00 PM, check-out by 10:00 AM.
• No parties or events, and no smoking indoors (the balconies are fine).
