The deck has been expanded and an outdoor fireplace has also been added.

We loved our little cabin for my husband and i’s “mini-moon”. The hot tub and jacuzzi bath tub were amazing, my husband even tried out the sauna and that was nice as well. There is a short but steep *paved* hill to drive up to the cabin, but not a problem for us with AWD. Helen is a fun town to visit, only about a 15-20 minute drive from the cabin. We went back and forth often. Overall we had an amazing time.

What a beautiful cabin! We really enjoyed our stay at Deer Crossing. The cabin was very clean and the host was very easy to get ahold of when needed. Great pool table, hot tub, and grill! The cabin is very quiet and remote even while being about a fifteen minute drive from Helen and ten minute drive from Anna Ruby Falls. We stayed for seven days so we took full advantage of the kitchen and we found it very well stocked and big enough for two to prepare meals. Our only complaints was that we were given only four towels and four wash cloths for two people for a seven night stay with a hot tub and tub. There was also laundry facilities listed for the cabin but we were not given any information on where it was located. Also, it is very bright at night due to there only being few windows with curtains and the two cabins next door kept flood lights on all night shinning directly into the living room windows. Other than that, our stay was great and would definitely recommend it to someone wanting a romantic getaway. I wound just bring an eye mask if you’re a light sleeper and extra towels if staying for a longer trip.
