The Space:
This single-level cottage is tucked into the countryside of Barrio Río Abajo, Ceiba, with one bedroom and one ensuite bathroom, sleeping up to three guests between a queen bed and a sofa bed. The kitchen is fully equipped — refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, rice maker, coffee maker, blender and toaster — and an outdoor kitchen extends cooking and dining into the garden. A patio, dining table and outdoor seating make the most of the garden and mountain views, while a desk and laptop-friendly workspace suit those mixing in a little remote work. The home is thoughtfully set up for families, with a safe, outlet covers, corner guards and a baby monitor already in place.
Guest Access:
You'll have full access to the entire cottage, as well as the property's shared amenities and common areas.
Check-in is self-service via an on-site lockbox, and the gated community is accessed with its own code. Free parking is available on the premises and on the street, including a reserved space for guests with disabilities.

Based on the general location of Ceiba, Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan is an estimated 50-60 minute drive; the Fajardo ferry terminal for Culebra and Vieques is roughly 15-20 minutes away, and El Yunque National Forest is about 20-30 minutes away. These are estimates rather than a live route calculation, so we recommend confirming with us closer to your trip. A car is the most practical way to get around this rural part of the island.

- Checkout is at 11:00 AM local time.
- To ensure a smooth arrival for incoming guests, please honor the checkout time.
- Unauthorized late checkouts will incur an additional fee.
- The reservation must be booked by a legal adult; children are welcome to stay as part of the group.

Utilities & Weather in Ceiba
- Electricity Management: Due to the energy situation in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria, power outages can occur from time to time. We have a backup generator so you're never left in the dark, though its runtime depends on responsible use. During an outage, we recommend limiting higher-draw items — A/C, microwave, hair dryer, washer/dryer, and chargers — so the generator lasts as long as possible for everyone.
- Water Supply: Water outages are uncommon, and we're prepared with backup water tanks on-site. If an external service interruption happens, we recommend using water only for the essentials and pausing the washing machine until service is restored.
- Extended Outages: If an outage lasts more than 3 hours and you choose to stay, you may request a refund for the affected nights. If you'd prefer to cancel the remainder of your stay, you may request a refund for the unused nights.
- Hurricane & Storm Policy: We want your stay to be safe, but weather is out of our control. No refunds are issued for weather-related cancellations; however, in the event of a storm, we're happy to help you reschedule, subject to calendar availability.
