Relax on the spacious sofa in front of the TV or warm up by the wood-burning stove on cooler days. Take a seat at the long dining table in the bright conservatory and let your gaze wander outside whilst you enjoy breakfast. Prepare your favourite dishes in the functional kitchen and then spend some quality time together in the various living areas. Step out onto the sheltered terrace and spend the day surrounded by greenery. The dark-clad timber house stands on a spacious plot framed by tall trees and dense shrubs. Take a seat at the large wooden table under the canopy, have a barbecue with friends, or retreat with a drink to one of the seating areas on the lawn. The large lawn offers plenty of space for activities and carefree hours in the open air. Go for a swim on the wide sandy beach at Liseleje and visit the Havtyren nature playground on the edge of the plantation. Go for a walk across Melby Overdrev, which borders directly on the coast – Zealand’s large protected heathland, which blooms with purple flowers in August. Afterwards, explore Tisvilde Hegn with the bizarrely shaped old pines of Troldeskoven and visit the medieval ruins of Asserbo Castle with its preserved wall remains and moat.
