Roaming Souls Hostel Munnar

Rooftop View, comfortable common space, washroom fittings.

Ramki is a great host who makes sure any issues are resolved promptly. The hostel has plenty of board games that you can play anytime. Ramki even joins in, plays with the guests, and teaches them new games, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. He also recommends great places to visit in Munnar and helps arrange transportation, making it easier to explore the area. The stay was comfortable, and the hostel is newly built. The beds were good, the washrooms were clean, and the best part was meeting people from all around the world. Overall, it was a great stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Munnar!

A few areas could be improved. The terrace could be made more inviting with better lighting and a more organized setup. Since Ramki manages almost everything himself, hiring a few staff members could help him manage the hostel more efficiently. Providing lockers for guests would also be a useful addition. Additionally, the hostel is located uphill, and the steep climb to reach it can be a bit challenging, especially with luggage.

Amazing view, perhaps the most magical balcony view you will ever see. Very pleasant ambiance and they are just starting so don’t be too worried by low number of reviews.

The host was amazing taking us up the hill in his car but it is up a massive hill. If you come to mountains, expect hills but be aware of the challenge getting up. Worth it for the view of course.

Had a great stay at Roaming Souls Hostel! The place has a really friendly and welcoming vibe, perfect for solo travellers and backpackers.Specially the host Ram. The atmosphere is relaxed, the people are amazing, and it’s a great place to meet fellow travellers.
