Emma House

Emma’s house is an absolute delight to stay in: newly furnished and renovated, with everything you need for a perfect holiday. We stayed as a family of six, using it as our base. The kitchen is fully equipped for storing and cooking, with a big fridge. The bathroom is roomy, with a walk-in shower and great storage below the sink. There’s a washing machine and dedicated space to dry and store luggage, which is a real plus for family travel. The house has air conditioning plus an extra fan in the bedroom, and we were able to get cribs on request for our infants. Being on the ground floor made it especially easy getting in and out with a stroller. On location: two supermarkets are just 3 minutes’ walk away, and the nearest restaurants and best ice cream parlour are also 3 minutes on foot. It’s a great base for exploring the beaches — Poetto beach is a 10-minute bus ride, with very regular service from a stop just 3 minutes away. Other bus stops for the more remote beaches are 8–15 minutes’ walk, in the same district. The couple renting the place are lovely and very responsive to questions. We’d come back anytime, and next time we’ll stay longer!
