This was a lovely bedroom suite in an historic home steps from downtown Calais. By accident, we had the whole place to ourselves. The host left us ample breakfast options and delicious coffee and tea choices. We very much enjoyed exploring the beautiful home and walking in the district was so many antebellum properties which had been lovingly cared for.

The Historic Sawyer Inn was exceptional. The Inn was comfortable, clean and perfect for my 4 day stay. I would definitely stay again. An excellent choice located within the center of town.
Nothing, the innkeepers made sure that I had everything I needed.

Easy check in
Lots of mold around bathtub/shower. Polyester sheets make bed hot and uncomfortable.
