We absolutely loved staying in this charming, authentic house. It was incredibly cozy, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Everything was clean, well maintained, and thoughtfully prepared, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The surroundings are absolutely stunning. You’re just a short walk from the lake and completely surrounded by beautiful nature, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The PRIVATE SAUNA was the cherry on top and the perfect way to end each day. The hosts were wonderful- very responsive, accommodating, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. We truly loved our time here and only wish we could have stayed longer!

This place isn't for everyone. Depending on your preferences, you may love it or you may hate it. For us, it was so-so. Good things: a lot of room, functional kitchen, the magic of a working fireplace (once we found out how to set up the chimney so that the smoke doesn't fill up the living room), the quiet surroundings with a lake and a lot of forest, cheap. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, although there was a language barrier. Some of the design choices are nice.

The main problem was that it was advertised for five people, while in reality, the fifth person had to sleep in the living room. Secondly, we got a few cold days and needed heating. The host was kind enough to bring some wood for the fireplace, but for the rest of the house, once the central heating was on, there was no way for us to control it except to call for the host to adjust it himself. And their English wasn't really good so we decided it doesn't matter, we were only staying for two days. I can't say the place was dirty. It wasn't. But it didn't *feel* clean. I guess the best was to describe it is "rustic" in all senses of the word. If the place was mine and I lived there, I would be more fine with it because I would know I was the only one there. But with the place having a lot of different people staying there, there was always a seed of uncertainty. The carpets are nice, but you never know what happened there. The bathtub could use de-calcifying and some general maintenance, but otherwise, it was usable. Weird parking arrangement. There is room for more than one car, also the entrance to the basement garage, but you can't reach any of it it because of rocks and a sauna cottage and rough terrain. I don't know if I would stay there again. Seriously. I can't say it was bad, but when staying at the unknown house, I'd like something more standard and sterile. Again, not because it's dirty, but because of standard procedure, you don't know what happened there before.
