Vildmarksbyn - unique accommodation in the Småland forest

Here, you literally live in the heart of nature. Forest cabins with cozy fireplaces, as well as the opportunity to cook outdoors over an open fire. In our wood-fired pizza oven, you can bake fantastic pizzas. The wilderness village is right next to the lake, where you can swim, go for a boat ride, and fish. There are several hiking trails here that we’ve built for our guests.
You’ll sleep on wooden benches around the fireplace in the cabin. Bring your own sleeping pad and sleeping bag. So there are no beds on site—you’ll be living the wilderness life.
We can now also offer a sauna raft, where you can boost your health while enjoying views of the lake and forest. The sauna raft is an optional extra at an additional cost.
Our greatest luxury is the silence. There’s no one else here; you hear nothing but nature.
This accommodations are perfect for those seeking a unique experience—for those who want to feel a genuine connection to nature.
There’s no electricity or running water. The restroom is a newly built outhouse. Everything is simple but well-organized. This gives you a chance to truly spend time with your children and friends.
In a brand-new storage shed, you can borrow cooking equipment, personal flotation devices, and much more.
The roads leading to the area are gated, so you can truly be on your own.
In the forest, you’ll find moose, deer, and many other animals. Since this is a unique accommodation, please read our description carefully and don’t hesitate to ask us any questions. The whole family here on the farm pitches in to help with Vildmarksbyn and the forest, and our goal is to manage our forest in a way that benefits nature; we therefore hope that you, our guests, will experience the tranquility and a sense of being fully present.
