I’d love to share my genuine, heartfelt review of this hotel. The front desk staff were incredibly thoughtful right at check-in. They helped carry all our luggage up to our room and walked us through every complimentary service the hotel offers—everything is completely free of charge! We had full access to a free gym and self-service laundry room. The breakfast spread was extensive and delicious, and complimentary late-night snacks were also provided each evening. The entire property is spotlessly clean, which was such a relief for us since we’re quite particular about hygiene. On the ground floor, there’s a 24-hour coffee machine, a kids’ playground, and a dedicated area for traditional hand-painted lacquer fan crafts. The second floor houses a private Chinese restaurant and a wellness spa, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel’s facilities are modern and well-maintained. When we checked out, the staff gifted us handcrafted lacquer fans and other meaningful souvenirs. They also assisted us with all our belongings and loaded them into our vehicle when our transport arrived. Every single service we received was absolutely flawless. This trip to China has been absolutely worthwhile thanks to our stay here. I could not recommend this hotel more highly!

Everything about this hotel is absolutely fantastic! The breakfast is delicious, with a wide selection of breads, cakes and pastries. We got to try lots of delicious authentic Chinese dishes, which made our stay such a pleasant experience. When we checked in, the staff kindly upgraded us to a quieter room free of charge. The ladies at the front desk patiently help us reserve the complimentary shuttle bus to Shanghai Disneyland. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to Wanda Shopping Mall, which is extremely convenient. The hotel has a fully equipped gym and self-service laundry room for guests to use. Tasty free midnight snacks are served every night. They offer all kinds of free gifts for children, including hair clips, complimentary manicure services, Chinese steam eye masks and cooling gel patches. Building block toys are also given to kids as little presents. On the first floor, there is a children’s playground and a meeting area. A 24-hour self-service coffee machine is available, serving freshly ground coffee that guests can take away for free. We stayed at Maixingge International Hotel, and every single service and facility here is beyond perfect.

The breakfast is delicious with abundant food choices, and tasty free midnight snacks are served every night. All staff are warm, friendly and always ready to help. It only takes around 30 minutes by taxi to reach downtown Shanghai, and the hotel is very close to Nanjing Road and the Bund on the Huangpu River. The hotel also gave us special cultural gifts — handcrafted lacquer fans, a treasure of China’s Intangible Cultural Heritage. We are extremely satisfied with our stay and give this hotel a full 100% positive review!
