Vasiliki Bay

Our 1 week stay in this apartment was very pleasant and enjoyable. The apartment is spot clean, very spacious (even better than the pictures), recently renovated, has a big kitchen integrated with the living room, a large balcony with beautiful view of the bay to spend time outside and to hang wet clothing, and 2 toilets; overall being very convenient for our group that included few children. All works perfectly, incl. the AC, kitchen appliances, washing machine, TV. The communication with our host was very fluent and timely. We could even enter the apartment a bit earlier since it was available. Check in via a digital key was fast and convenient. Host was very attentive to our needs. In the beginning we had trouble with the hot water for showering (since we were a group of 6) but the host remediated this quickly and had us also using the electric boiling. Although it was not really needed, he also compensated us for the trouble with complementary drinks, super kind. We also got a change of towels and bed sheets in the middle of the week, another nice detail which we did not expect. The washing machine is a big plus, especially for a stay of several days with children. The kitchen has enough plates and cutlery for a group of 6; we also received some complementary breakfast supplies (marmalade, butter, coffee, tea, toasts) that was great for the first day. The apartment is on the second floor and within a building with other apartments apparently under renovation (but there was no construction going on at that time). Is located in a quiet street and above a minimarket (convenient for groceries) led by a kind family. Getting parking place for our cars was a bit challenging at times, but we always managed to get a spot. From the apartment, you can easily reach by foot the city centre (7 min, incl. restaurants and the pedestrian shopping street) and 3 small beaches (5-10 min) following the coast. We totally recommend it!

Nothing we disliked to report. To make it perfect, we will suggest including an umbrellas set for the beach and some more kitchen utensils. But this apartment is definitely above standards and well worth it!
