Straight from check in the staff were lovely, showed me around, made me aware of all that was on offer and how they built out the space with intent. The facilities were described as rough and ready, but I'd use the word "functional" more. It was actually better than I expected from rough descriptions from booking. The pods are secure and individual. The bed and bedding may be the best nights sleep I've had away from my own bed, though they may run short for taller people. The showers have great temp and pressure and little sinks, so although they are shared, they are cabined and there is isolation. The access to basic non machine gym equipment, space, classes and a balcony were exceptional this price.

This is where I am conflicted. The comfort and access etc all top notice. Live music from midnight to 2am from the pub below, absolutely broke my ability for comfort. During any other part of the day, next to silent in the cabin, just this was a large sticking point to my stay. I was assured it's mainly Saturday and Sundays (sadly when I usually travel) and I really have to highlight, it was ONLY the live music. Sadly, the time it was on, was the worst. Would have been a-ok with 10-midnight. But anyone staying in Manchester and planning to be out and about? This is a VERY easy recommend from me.
