    Bad smell / damp throughout the corridor and room. Carpet had numerous stains. Would not recommend to anyone. Had to book another hotel!

    The hotel is in a great location in the heart of Manchester, but unfortunately, the customer service was extremely disappointing. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff showed little to no hospitality. No eye contact, no welcoming words, and absolutely no sense of making guests feel welcome. The checkout experience was even worse. We simply asked for a 30-minute extension, and just a few minutes later, we received a phone call threatening to charge us a penalty if we didn’t check out within five minutes. The way this was handled was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. A good location cannot compensate for poor hospitality. Guests deserve basic courtesy and respect, not to feel like an inconvenience. I wouldn’t consider staying here again, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who values good customer service.

    Stayed several times before. Excellent staff, location and near football ground, pubs and restaurants. 10/10.

    Room & bathroom were clean and decent. Creaky floors and doors were a bit noisy. I did have a random drunk woman try to get into my room at 4am, which was a bit unnerving as a solo traveller, but the staff came and sorted it out.
