The campsite is also close to some of the finest sites to visit in Périgord, including the beautiful towns of Sarlat and Domme, and the valley of the dordogne with its Castles and famous villages...So many things to discover. From the camping, you can use pedestrian path and enjoy canoe's tour. On the camping, you will find 2 swimming pools, paddling pool, playground for children, ping pong, athletic field, volleyball, etc. During the summer, we offer you a program with activities for all the family. Also a snack bar and a grocery with fresh bread delivered daily help you during your holidays. Some terminal camper are available for the motor home. In the toilet block, you have a children and special baby space, a handicap accessible and an area for washing machine, dryer and we lend a flatiron. We sell stamps, post card, and we have a free access on internet in the terrace The Dordogne is a department of the south-west of France, situated in the Aquitaine region. The Dordogne department is spread across the Périgord plateau. In the east it is a raised limestone plateau and dips in the west to the Saintonge and Guyenne plains. Many rivers run through the Dordogne : the Bandiat, the Dronne, the Isle, the Auvezere, the Dordogne, the Vezere and the Dropt. The Landais and the Double forests cover the west of the department. The Perigord countryside is therefore very varied. The chief town of the department is Perigueux, and the three major subdivisions of the department are headed by Bergerac, Nontron and Sarlat-la-Caneda. Land of troubadours, of authors and personalities such as Montaigne, La Boétie, Fénelon, Eugène le Roy and André Maurois. The agriculture is also very varied. The north is dominated by cattle breeding, whereas the majority of the department mixes crops (cereals and tabacco) and breeding. The Dordogne valley is mainly known for its strawberries and vineyards (Bergerac, Monbazillac). The region is famous for its walnuts, truffles and foie gras. From Souillac, take the direction of Vitrac, Domme, Sarlat (D703). When you arrive in Vitrac Port, cross the bridge to Domme. At the intersection, turn right and the campsite will be 200m further. From Sarlat, take the direction of Domme, once in Vitrac Le Port, cross the bridge to Domme. At the intersection, turn right and the campsite will be 200m further. From Gourdon, follow the direction of Domme, the campsite will be on your right just before the intersection to go up to Domme. If you arrive from Périgueux or Bergerac, avoid Sarlat. Take St Cyprien, La Roque gageac, bridge of Vitrac and cross the bridge of Vitrac on the right. The camping is arrowed. Your holiday can start! Watch out : Don't go up to Domme, we are down the valley, next to the river !
