Whether with a book on the sunny balcony, relaxing in a beach chair, or enjoying an exclusive break in the in-house sauna—the Nordlicht will treat you to wonderfully relaxing and magical vacation moments!

High-quality, allergy-friendly materials create an atmosphere of absolute well-being at KarlsRUHE. The well-thought-out floor plan and lovingly chosen furnishings offer you the ideal balance between quality family time and relaxing retreats. Light-filled rooms, comfortable seating both indoors and outdoors, cozy beds, and a fully equipped kitchen-dining area with genuine comfort make this spacious ground-floor apartment (80 m²) your perfect place to unwind. And best of all: if the grandparents are coming along, the separate “Kajüte+” apartment in the same building is a wonderful addition to rent—the ideal combination for an unforgettable multigenerational vacation!

On the apartment’s private wooden deck with beach chairs, you can soak up the morning and evening sun, enjoy your first cup of coffee of the day, or wind down the evening in relaxation. After a shared vacation breakfast in the kitchen-diner, everyone is drawn outside to breathe in the healthy North Sea air—simply wonderful!

After a long walk on the beach or when the weather is typically gloomy, a very special highlight awaits you in the basement of the house: Enjoy free, private access to the in-house sauna area during your individually reserved sauna times. While parents or grandparents recharge here, the rest of the family can unwind with a movie night: A large smart TV in the living room, as well as separate TVs in the kitchen-diner and in the bedrooms, offer complete comfort for every taste. An all-in-one hi-fi audio system with radio and Bluetooth, along with a CD and DVD player, provides the perfect soundtrack for your vacation.

In the inviting, fully equipped kitchen-dining area, you’ll become a gourmet chef during your vacation. With high-quality appliances such as a ceramic cooktop, a large refrigerator with a freezer compartment, an oven, a dishwasher, and a microwave, everything is ready for you to enjoy cooking together in the evenings. A coffee maker, electric kettle, and toaster are, of course, also provided. The cozy sitting area with a high-quality genuine leather corner bench is perfect for long, leisurely evenings spent chatting.

Two separate bedrooms and an additional maritime-themed living/bedroom guarantee restful nights. Here, you can simply sink into the pillows and enjoy the soothing tranquility of the island in hypoallergenic beds. The large bedroom features a double bed (200 x 200 cm) and a cozy bunk bed (90 x 200 cm, which can be equipped with a safety rail upon request)—a crib can also be added here. The smaller bedroom is equipped with two box-spring beds (each 90 x 200 cm) that can be moved around as needed (a crib can also be added here). The separate living room/bedroom features a large genuine leather corner sofa and another comfortable sofa bed (90 x 200 cm), so every guest can choose their own personal cozy spot.

The modern bathroom, featuring a shower, toilet, sink, and mirror, as well as a heated towel rack and hair dryer, rounds out the living comfort.

Whether you’re exploring the island’s most beautiful spots online, reading a book in a beach chair, or playing an exciting board game: Free Wi-Fi and a nice selection of books and board games ensure you’ll always have the right entertainment.

For our youngest guests, the family-friendly “Ferienwohnung Nordlicht” provides a crib and high chair free of charge.

General Information: The ground-floor apartment is ideal for up to 5 adults + 1 child up to 12 years old + a baby in a crib. A washing machine and dryer are available for a fee in the building’s basement. An iron and an ironing board are available for shared use, as is a luggage rack for arrival and departure. For convenient luggage transport, 3–4 hand carts from Haus KarlsRuhe are available at the harbor. After arriving at the house, please return them to the harbor as soon as possible. This is a non-smoking property.
