The kitchen is set up for proper cooking rather than just reheating, with an oven and hob and plenty of worktop space, so you can eat in after a day out. The bedrooms keep things calm and simple, and the flat sits back from the main roads, so evenings stay quiet.

Location
Newsome is a quiet residential suburb just south of Huddersfield town centre, with the Holme Valley countryside close at hand. It`s a calm base, though you`ll want a car or the bus to get into town and around. There`s plenty within easy reach for walkers, families, and anyone who likes a good local pub.
• Greenhead Park, 1.5 miles, around 25 to 30 min walk (Victorian Park with gardens, lake and miniature railway)
• Beaumont Park, around 2 miles, 8 to 12 min drive (Huddersfield`s oldest park, woodland paths and a bandstand)
• Castle Hill and Victoria Tower, around 2.5 miles, 10 to 15 min drive (Historic Landmark with valley views)
• The Sportsman, around 1.7 miles, 25 to 35 min walk (Pub with its own microbrewery and beer garden)
• The Grove, around 1.8 miles, 8 to 12 min drive (Pub known for real ales and craft beers)
• Cosy Kitchen, around 1.7 miles, 25 to 35 min walk (family-run Italian Restaurant)
• Colne Valley Circular Walk, starting point around 7 miles by car or 15 min by train to Marsden (13-mile scenic Walking Trail)
Good to Know Before You Book
Check-in is self-service using a lockbox by the apartment door, with full instructions sent on the day of arrival, so you can come and go in your own time. Parking is on gravel in the gated car park behind the building, a short walk round to the flat. Newsome is a quiet suburb set back from the main roads, so you`ll want a car or the bus for getting into town. Quiet hours run from 8pm to 8am, please keep noise down for the neighbours. Shoes off on the carpets, please. Rubbish should be put out before you leave or every 3 days.
Extra charges
Early check-in or late check-out can be added subject to availability: 1 hour for £25 or 2 hours for £40, requested after booking through a secure third-party platform.
Booking policy
Guests are required to pay a security deposit of £200 prior to their stay. This is fully refundable pending no damages or excess cleaning being required. This will be a pre-authorisation hold on the card taken at least 24 hours before you check in, and is automatically released within 3 days after check out.
Full payment is due 30 days before arrival and will be automatically charged to the card on file. If payment fails, it must be completed within 24 hours or the booking will be cancelled. Early payment is allowed; card fees up to 3 percent are non-refundable if cancelled.
Cancellation policy
Full refund if cancelled 30 or more days before arrival. Fifty percent refund if cancelled fourteen to thirty days before arrival. No refund if cancelled within fourteen days of arrival.
