Arrive. Breathe. Feel at ease.
Between mountains, lakes, and the historic old town.
Right in the heart of Traunstein – in the 💛 of the Chiemgau.
Our lovingly renovated townhouse is made for those who appreciate great design, value quality, and are looking for something special. Whether traveling solo, as a couple, or as a family.
The space
Between the old town and the river Traun –
our historic townhouse could hardly be more perfectly located.
We renovated the house ourselves with great attention to detail, carefully preserving as much of its original character as possible: creaky stairs, old wooden doors, and authentic features throughout.
Spread over two floors, you’ll find everything you need for a relaxing stay – full of charm and cozy retreats.
On the ground floor, you’ll find a spacious living and dining area, featuring a large solid oak table overlooking the garden.
The kitchen is equipped with a Bora cooktop, along with all essential cooking utensils.
The adjacent living room offers a wood-burning stove, a comfortable sofa, and a quiet reading corner.
The bathroom is also located on this level.
Upstairs, you can retreat into a cozy window seat.
This floor also features two bedrooms, including a children’s room that can accommodate 1–2 kids depending on your needs.
Guest access
The house includes a small driveway with a garage, where you can park your car free of charge.
An electric charging station is available for an additional fee.
Bicycles can be stored in the bike shelter, where you’ll also find a city bike that you’re welcome to use.
Other things to note
Located between Munich and Salzburg, yet offering its own rich cultural life, Traunstein in the Chiemgau is the perfect base combining urban flair, culture, mountains, and lakes.

Just across the street, you’ll find a newly built inclusive playground that delights children of all ages.
For those seeking more action, there’s also a pump track just around the corner.
