Apartment in Zandvoort

About this apartment rental
De IJsfabriek is a 30m² studio on the ground floor of a former industrial ice factory in the centre of Zandvoort. The building itself is the character here: original brickwork, tall multi-pane factory windows that flood the space with light, and dark industrial finishes that make it feel more loft than beach apartment.
The open-plan living area has a kingsize bed (180cm) upstairs reached by a loft staircase, a sofa bed for one additional guest, a sitting area with TV, and a fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower and WC.
The studio sleeps up to 3 guests. Note that because this is an open-plan studio, all sleeping areas share the same space. There is no separate bedroom or door to close off the sleeping area.
Dogs are very welcome!
Stepping out of the factory door and into the Zandvoort streets, you are already halfway to the sea.

## Neighborhood
Cornelis Slegersstraat sits in the heart of Zandvoort, one street back from the main boulevard. The beach is about a three-minute walk from the front door. In summer, the boulevard runs the full length of the seafront with beach clubs, restaurants, and terraces; in autumn and winter, a handful stay open year-round and the crowds thin out completely.
The centre of Zandvoort has supermarkets, a bakery, restaurants, and coffee bars within easy walking distance. Albert Heijn is around the corner on the Grote Krocht. The famous Circuit Zandvoort — home to the Dutch Formula 1 Grand Prix — is visible from the dunes at the south end of the beach, about 15 minutes on foot.
Haarlem is 20 minutes by car or train, Amsterdam around 30 minutes by train from Zandvoort aan Zee station, which is a 10-minute walk from the property.
## Transit
A car is not needed for this location. Zandvoort aan Zee station is approximately a 10-minute walk from the property and has direct connections to Haarlem (20 minutes) and Amsterdam Centraal (around 30 minutes). Schiphol Airport is approximately 30 minutes by car, or reachable by train via Haarlem. Paid parking is available at the Centrum garage on Cornelis Slegersstraat and at several other locations within walking distance.
