Beach House Zandvoort

the location was very close to the beach which was very nice. The rooms were clean, although quite small, but for 2 nights it was ok. We managed to fit the baby cot into one of the bedrooms. Beds were very comfortable and we had a wonderful sleep.

the bathroom smelled pretty bad, probably sewer not working properly. The toilet was squished right next to the wall, so a more obeese person would have a problem to sit on it. Sink in bathroom very tiny and pressure of shower very low, hard to take a proper shower. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom as well, although ironically there is no electric plug to put it in the entire bathroom. A fan in the shower would help with the smell and humidity.

The location was perfect. Apartment was small but fine for a night away to go to the beach with kids and the dog. Host who met us was lovely and friendly and the apartment is a great find we will be back!

beds were slightly hard and the heating we could not turn off at the radiator so woke up very hot!

This is the second time we have stayed here and no complaints on either visit. Location is excellent close to the beach, supermarket and the town centre/restaurants etc. A short walk from the train station.

Maybe an option of paying for a later check time until midday would be good

The position is great, just behind the beach, 2 m walking distance. The host were very nice and helpful. In general it was a good experience even if I think it can be definitely improved.

The apartment was not very well equipped, no microwave, no extra toilet paper, the dining table was a bit old and overused. The induction hob in the kitchen seemed to have some problems, couldn't use 2 burners simultaneously, didn't understand what was the problem. Not all the extra costs info were properly display on booking. As an example they say pet allowed and charge may be applicable. I would have appreciated if the dog charge would have been clear since the beginning. There were ants on the kitchen top and on the floor.
