Stafileo Palace

I’m always wary of commenting on my Stays because it depends what you expect. The property is in a 13 century building and therefore it has impediments which would not necessarily be acceptable in today’s day and age, but the couple who were running it are incredibly nice people and very helpful and helped with the luggage on the Stair case and were very kind and considerate that’s why I gave it a good score. Denisa is a delightful person and I’m sure you will find her that way as well. One huge attraction is that you’re right in the heart of Trogir and so you can walk through the ancient streets where that are full of delightful cafes and restaurants. As well as little shops and outlets for knickknacks and light summer clothing. There is a market nearby which has fresh fruit and vegetables as well as nonperishable products and handbags and the like.

I am a realistic person. I knew what the property was offering and I booked it anyway so I can’t complain about anything that I didn’t know about. There is no objective standard. It depends what you were looking for and I thought the property was precisely what I was looking for

Very clean and air conditioner worked great! Kitchenette had everything.

Small room and 7 flights of stairs to the top floor. We bumped our heads a few times on the slanted Ceiling.

Location and facilities great

Top floor (3) a bit tricky for tall people due to sloping roof….
