Royal Forest Dilijan

The property is beautiful, modern, and well-furnished, with lovely views. We had a ground-floor room with direct access to the swimming pool, which was perfect for our family with children. The staff were genuinely kind, friendly, and welcoming. The city center is about five minutes away by taxi. However, since the property is located uphill, it might not be very convenient to walk with a baby stroller. Having a car or using taxis is a better option.

Although the property itself is excellent, the service and facilities could better match its quality. Communication was sometimes difficult, especially at the front desk, although the lady was very kind and friendly. The breakfast schedule was also confusing. On the first day, a restaurant staff member told us that breakfast started at 9:00 AM, but the next morning, the same person said it actually started at 9:30 AM. Since our taxi was booked for 10:00 AM, we couldn’t wait and had to eat what was already available while the rest was being prepared. Nevertheless, the food was good, and we enjoyed our breakfast. There was also an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, possibly coming from the drainage system, which needs attention. Overall, it’s a lovely property with great potential, especially for families. With better communication, more consistent service, and a little more attention to maintenance, it could easily become an excellent place to stay. Despite these issues, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the kindness of the staff.

The views are just amazing!

The small jacuzzi pool was pretty dirty, so we didn’t even enter. Also my biggest disappointment was that the breakfast didn’t include a coffee. Never had this experience in any other hotel before.

Große Zimmer toller Pool

Absolut umgeschultes Personal. Die Preise sind für Armenien gehoben. Die Hälfte der Speisekarte im Restaurant war nicht vorhanden. Weißwein wurde bei Zimmertemperatur serviert. Cappuccino war heiße Milch ohne Schaum mit Kaffee.
