Buchtblick

We received the keys an hour before the official check-in time. Thank you to Daniel for that. He was a very pleasant gentleman to deal with. The neighbours were also very pleasant to deal with (perhaps they were the owners). Location of house: A quiet and cosy place. A lovely view of the neighbours’ grounds and the private garden, as well as the sea, especially at sunset. Light and big rooms. A lot of kitchen equipment.

The filter in the dishwasher hadn’t been cleaned, so there was an unpleasant smell when I opened it. I’d like to have a stock of washing powder for the washing machine and dishwasher detergent. (I’ve only found rinse and shine aid and salt.) The lack of a microwave oven means I have to use the electric plate. The air conditioner is awkwardly positioned. When the bedroom doors are closed, it’s useless but very noisy. We had to leave the air conditioning on all day and keep the doors open so that the cool air could circulate throughout the building. There were no signs indicating ‘private property’, which caused a minor misunderstanding on the first day regarding the route to the beach. Judging by the photos, we were expecting two separate beds for the two children. But there was just one large bed.
