Luxury Boutique Villa with Natural Pool, Istra Madre

We didn’t realize we’d be among the very first guests at Istra Madre Casa Botanica. It turns out the property was only recently built, and it’s a true passion project for the owners. You can really feel it -the hosts have an "underpromise and overdeliver" mindset and are incredibly warm and welcoming. We were given a detailed tour of the house, and Davor always seemed to be on standby, happy to help us with just about anything throughout our stay. This wasn’t our first time in the area. We frequently visit Poreč and Rovinj for tennis and beach life - but this stay was definitely different, as we chose a house rather than our usual hotel experience. It was a great decision! From a practical standpoint, everything worked smoothly: the parking, the kitchen, the garden area, and, of course, the greenhouse and the natural pool. What a cool and beautifully executed idea by the owners! I Slicing up a papaya picked fresh from your own botanical garden and then cooling off with a dip in the natural pool - that’s hard to beat!
