Xplore Xpress Center spacious apartment

The apartment was in an excellent location in the city centre, with all the main attractions and essential services nearby. As it was located on the top floor, it offered a beautiful view of the city. The apartment was spacious and well laid out. The host also sent us recommendations for nearby restaurants, which helped us find a very pleasant place serving delicious local food at reasonable prices.

After making the booking, we received no response from the host, even though I had already stated at the time of booking that we needed a parking space. We would have expected at least an acknowledgement of the booking and answers to our questions. Until we arrived in Tirana, we had no information about how to access the apartment or whether we would be able to park our car. Early in the morning on the day of our arrival, before leaving home, I sent the host another message, but this also went unanswered. We only received instructions on how to collect the keys after arriving in Tirana. However, we never received any response regarding parking. In addition, the apartment did not match the description provided in the booking, and the photos on Booking.com were not of this apartment. Based on the description and the photos, the apartment was supposed to have two shower rooms, but in reality there was only one shower. This was important to us because we were travelling as two married couples. The apartment was also very noisy. Street noise could be heard clearly inside and made it difficult to sleep. The area around the building was also dirty and poorly maintained. I have travelled extensively, and unfortunately this apartment does not rank among my better accommodation experiences. The host still has considerable room for improvement in terms of communication, the accuracy of the information provided, and the overall quality of the accommodation.
