Serene mid-century modern oasis nestled between golf course and the open desert.

This mid-century gem is a desert hideaway perfect for a romantic escape, biking/hiking/golfing intensive, or writing retreat. The house sits nestled between an expanse of three fairways of the De Anza golf course and the open desert. In a dark sky community the silence and serenity of the Mojave are second to none. This place is perfect for a small family or two couples.The pool is a welcome respite spring through fall when temperatures make a regular dip a delight, and the fireplace is equally welcome on winter evenings. There is an outdoor fire pit and BBQ and many outdoor nooks to sit and chat or read. You will find the space hypnotic.

The kitchen has a dishwasher and the essentials. There is a laundry area. There two spacious master suites and a large living room and dining room. Decorated in mid-century modern style it is a time machine back to the late 60s when it was built.

There is ample parking. Stores and the center of town are a short 5 minute drive away. Hiking and biking surround us and are very easily accessed.

No smoking, no parties, and no pets and no exceptions. The potential damage from these are not worth the risk to us, this is our home too. The pool attendant and neighbors are aware and are friends who will alert us to violations of the agreement.

I think you will find as most do that it is impossible not to relax and unwind here.
