State Park Proximity: The picturesque community of Borrego Springs is surrounded by Anza-Borrego Desert State Park—the largest state park in California.
Local Wildlife: Keep your eyes peeled! The endangered Borrego Bighorn sheep are often seen on the golf course right behind our home.
Activities: This is a fantastic area for hiking and bicycling, and there are several renowned golf courses nearby.
Community & Events:
Christmas Circle: The central hub in town features a lovely park called Christmas Circle, which hosts a Friday market, fruit markets, and many craft fairs throughout the year.
Borrego Days: A special festival called "Borrego Days" is held every year, featuring live music, art, food, a parade, and a car show. The town is totally booked during this time, with some guests booking a year in advance to be part of the celebration.
Desert Blooms: Anza-Borrego has one of the most beautiful arrays of wild desert flowers. The best time of the year to see these wonderful desert blooms is usually late February through April (depending on rainfall, it can be an earlier and longer season).
