About this cottage rental
Beautiful country cottage in a picturesque location with charming views situated on a public footpath leading to some of the best country walks within the North West. Blackbirds Cottage is a detached spacious two bedroom both en-suite holiday home situated in the heart of Douglas valley, within a ten minute walk to the idyllic village of Parbold which has a variety of shops, three country pubs, a wine bar and cafe.
Surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife you’ll be sure of a relaxed, private and peaceful stay. Situated approx 150 yards from the main road and the nearest neighbour.
Blackbirds cottage is situated within the spacious beautiful gardens of Blackbirds farm with direct links to an array of beautiful country walks. The footpath can be directly accessed from the back of the cottage garden.
We’re new to VRBO but have been on Airbnb for over 2 years with mainly 5* reviews. Most guests book a return visit!
The cottage has been decorated to a high standard with a fully fitted kitchen with all the amenities including dishwasher. laundry room including washer and tumble dryer.
Two ensuite bedrooms with high quality beds, one king and one super king. shower rooms with high flow showers. both bedrooms have tvs connected to the internet for streaming.
The cottage has a private garden area with BBQ and outdoor seating and guests are free to use the large gardens surrounding the cottage.
The cottage is situated in the centre of douglas valley and attracts a lot of wildlife daily. it isn't uncommon to see deer wandering through the gardens and early morning expect to see an array of wildlife ranging from rabbits, hares, pheasants, ducks, barn owls nesting, crows around the gardens and on the buildings. Fantastic for bird watchers or even night time star gazing with minimal light pollution being away from neighbours and street lighting.
