Ivy Cottage consists of a kitchen/diner with double electric oven, 4 ring ceramic hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher, and dining seating dining seating, a utility with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a living /dining room with woodburning stove and Smart TV. The bedrooms comprise a double and two twin beds that can be made in to a king on request serviced by a bathroom with bath, shower over, basin, heated towel rail, and WC, along with an external ground floor cloakroom with basin and WC. Outside, there is off road parking for two cars and two gardens with lawn. One well behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Oil fired central heating with electric heaters, WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, towels, and a starter pack for the woodburning stove are included in the rent. Ivy Cottage offers a practical and cushy base for exploring Shropshire. The Royal Oak pub which is a local beauty, also serves food. There are shops, restaurants and markets at Church Stretton. Note: there is a Good Housekeeping Bond of 200 GBP. One well-behaved dog welcome, not to be allowed in the bedrooms and please keep off the furniture.

The town is the main centre for Shropshire’s hill country and home to a variety of tea rooms, pubs and specialist shops. Other local attractions include walks on the Long Mynd and Stokesay Castle. The historic towns of Shrewsbury, Ludlow, Ironbridge, Much Wenlock and Bishops Castle are only a short journey away, making Church Stretton an excellent base for your Shropshire escape.
