About this apartment rental
Three minute walk from Notre Dame Cathedral and Ile- Saint-Louis.
In summer it is very fresh inside as built with old tick stoned walls.
Each room has an electric fan.
Flat at groundfloor composed of two bedrooms with each its own bathroom (shower, sink and toilet). We did a complete renovation trying to respect the soul of the ancient place.
Part of the walls of the building belong in the past to the Bernardins college of 13th century. That was the time of the "Templar Chevaliers"....
We conceived the whole volume for a comfort of people needing privacy and calm.
Two separate bedrooms with closing doors and their individuals toilet and shower comfort .
A dining and living room area with a little kitchen but fully equipped.
The height of the ceiling of the upper bedroom is around 2 mt heigh (the wooden ceiling is not straight as old building).
The height of the ceiling of the bedroom under the mezzanine is of 2mt height.
The wooden ceiling in the living room is of 3.9mt high.
In the dining room there is a folding sofa bed with a mattress for daily rest (140x190cm)
In the upper bedroom there are twin beds that can be put together for a bed of 160x190.
The bed in the bedroom downstairs is of 140x190 cm.
The mattress are very comfortable of 21cm heigh in the bedrooms.
The mattress in the dining room is thiner but for a comfort of daily rest (size 140x190cm).

This is the best location close to Notre Dame Cathedral and many restaurants within walking distance. We enjoyed this are very much. The process of checking out was a bit cumbersome and we did miss some process steps as we were fairly overcome by the stated requirements. A better solution would be to have a detailed written process for everything so we could review this as our stay progressed. Never the less, our host was easily contacted and resolved issues quickly. A second hair dryer in the upstairs bath would have been helpful. A few other minor suggestions. 1. Paper towels or napkins. 2. New shampoo and soap unopened for guests. 3. Wash towels for the showers. We were very satisfied with the stay overall especially the location of the apartment.

Great location! Close to NotreDame, a laundromat, and restaurants. If the cleaning ladies had not been there we could never have accessed the apartment. Directions needed for appliances like the washing machine/dryer, and oven , and heating units. I was never able to turn on the heat in the upstairs bedroom. Towels and washcloths need replacing.
