Kizan means “return to mountains” in Japanese & captures a sense of joyful serenity. It’s how we feel each time we’re there, and we hope it feels the same for you.
With Mont Blanc views & a private riverside garden, Kizan is a peaceful retreat in the heart of Chamonix.
Tucked away in a quiet, serene setting, this chalet offers the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience—set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Mont Blanc Massif and bordered by River Arve.
The Space:
The Space
Our modern, standalone 2-bedroom chalet is newly renovated with high-end finishes and thoughtful amenities throughout. The open-plan living area features a cozy suspended fireplace and a bar-style dining table, perfect for gathering with family and friends. The kitchen is fully equipped and opens into the living space, keeping the vibe social and easy-going.
Sleeping Arrangements
• Ground Floor: A cozy bedroom with a 160x200 bed, storage area for clothes. Bathroom next to the kitchen
• First Floor: A master ensuite bedroom with balcony access and stunning views, own private shower and storage space.
Note that beds cannot be splitted into singles.
Tatami Room: Your Wellness Corner
Located on the first floor, the bright tatami room offers panoramic Mont Blanc views and a tranquil space to unwind. Whether you're practicing yoga, stretching, meditating, or simply reading a book in the quiet, this serene corner of the chalet is designed for your well-being. Direct access to the balcony lets you soak in the alpine air while you recharge.
Outdoor Living
The expansive garden invites you to slow down and enjoy the fresh mountain air. Fire up the gas BBQ, relax around the outdoor dining table, or enjoy a moment of wellness in the private sauna. The nearby River Arve brings a cooling breeze on warmer days (note: no swimming in the river due to very strong currents).

The chalet is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and carefree mountain stay:
• Private outdoor parking space (suitable for one small vehicle, very narrow, see photos)
• High-speed fibre internet – perfect for remote work or streaming
• Washing machine
• Ski locker & bike storage
• Sunny terrace for lounging or enjoying your morning coffee
• Private sauna
• Gas BBQ for outdoor dining and alpine evenings

• Just 5 minutes’ walk to Chamonix center: restaurants, shops, and local services.
• Easy access to the main bus station for exploring the valley and ski areas.
• Surrounded by nature yet close to everything you need.

The Neighborhood:
Quiet, but very central. Kizan is located just a few hundred meters from Chamonix Center. It's private garden and being so close to the river gives you a feeling of total privacy and being alone.
Getting Around:
The Chamonix Sud main bus station and the Chamonix Sud train stop are both about 10 mins walking distance from the chalet.

Shoe off house.
