The 75' private dock has water, lighting, and cleats for approved guest boats, with a fish-cleaning station for the day's catch. Boats are limited to 30 ft LOA including hull, engines, and anchor; please confirm your vessel's specifications before booking. The owner boat, covered lift, floating-dock equipment, and shore power are not available for guest use.

Guest Access:

Check-in is contactless. After you complete our quick check-in form (ID, card on file, and signed rental agreement), we'll send your door code and detailed arrival instructions before your trip. Check in any time after 4:00 PM; check out by 10:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out may be available on request.



The Neighborhood:

Marathon sits in the heart of the Florida Keys, about halfway between Key Largo and Key West - close enough to day-trip in either direction, far enough to feel like your own slice of island.



You're minutes from the essentials: Keys Fisheries for stone crab and a lobster reuben on the water, Sombrero Beach (one of the few true sand beaches in the Keys), and the Turtle Hospital. The Seven Mile Bridge and Bahia Honda State Park are a short drive south, and Sombrero Reef - some of the best snorkeling in the Keys - is a quick boat ride out.



Charter captains, dive shops, tiki bars, and fresh-catch restaurants are all within a few minutes. This is a fishing and boating town first, and the home is built for exactly that.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended in the Keys. From Miami International (MIA) it's about a 2-hour drive south on US-1 / the Overseas Highway - one of the most scenic drives in the country. Key West is roughly 50 minutes south; Key Largo about an hour north.



The Marathon airport (KMTH) is right around the corner for private flights, and there's a public boat ramp nearby if you're trailering a boat. Your private dock is ready when you arrive.



Other Things to Note:

A few things that make for a smoother stay:



- Bringing a boat? Please confirm it fits the dock before booking - boats only up to 30ft long including hull and engines. (LOA)

- Pool heat is available on request for an additional fee; let us know ahead of a cooler-weather stay.

- This is a no-smoking, no-pets, no-parties home. Quiet hours are 9 PM-9 AM out of respect for the neighbors.

- Traveling June-November? That's hurricane season - we strongly recommend travel insurance for peace of mind.

- The Keys are a tropical paradise, which means the occasional gecko or island insect despite regular pest control. It's part of the magic.

We're a local Keys team, around as much or as little as you'd like. We handle everything before you arrive so you can settle in fast, and we typically respond to messages within the hour during your stay. Need a fishing charter, a grocery drop, or a dinner reservation? Just ask.
