Carefully restored, the château now combines the unique character of its ancient stone walls, vaulted ceilings, and handcrafted ironwork with modern comfort, including air conditioning throughout the property.

The History of the Château
Located in the heart of the historic village of Caderousse, between Orange and Avignon, this château has stood for nearly nine centuries. Formerly the residence of the Ancezune family, lords of Caderousse, it still preserves all the charm and authenticity of its medieval past.
According to local archives, several French sovereigns are said to have stayed here over the centuries, including Francis I in 1524, Henry III in 1575, and Louis XIII in 1622.
