Trapper`s Lodge is a fully loaded 3-bedroom house in the heart of Sundre, Alberta — built for groups who want real comfort without giving up the wild. 1,200 square feet, sleeps six, full kitchen, gas BBQ, fire pit, and a back yard that`s the star of the show.
The main floor opens into a bright living area with a 65` smart TV and seating for six. The kitchen is completely stocked — gas range, full fridge, dishwasher, Keurig, and everything you need to cook a proper meal or just grab a coffee before heading out. There`s bar seating for two and a dining table that fits eight, so nobody`s eating standing up.
Three bedrooms across three levels give everyone their own space. The master on the main floor has a king bed, private ensuite with rain shower and soaker tub. The second bedroom upstairs has a queen and its own AC for hot summer nights. The third is a double downstairs — great for kids or a couple wanting a bit of separation.
The back yard is what guests remember. Covered patio, outdoor seating for six, gas BBQ, fire pit, private garden, and four parking spaces including room for a trailer. It`s the kind of outdoor setup you want at the end of a day on the trails.
Sundre sits in the foothills at the edge of the Rockies — fly fishing on the Red Deer and Clearwater Rivers, ATV and dirt bike trails, horseback riding, elk and deer everywhere you look, and snowmobile country in winter. The town itself has everything you need for supplies. Rocky Mountain House is 45 minutes west.
Trapper`s Lodge is managed by Alpine Prestige Properties. Self check-in via smart lock, and a real person responds fast if anything comes up.
Guests have full exclusive access to the entire property for the duration of their stay:
• Entire 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home (1,200 sq ft)
• Full private back yard — patio, BBQ, fire pit, garden
• All parking — 4 vehicles + trailer
Guests are welcome to message us here on the app if they need anything during their stay.
• This is a residential property in Sundre — please be respectful of neighbours. Quiet hours 11 PM – 8 AM.
• Wildlife is active in the area — deer and elk are common. Food and garbage must be stored securely.
• AC is available in Bedroom 2 (portable unit). Main floor and basement rely on Alberta`s natural cool evenings.
• The property uses a Minut noise monitor (no audio recording) for community safety compliance.
• Exterior security cameras are present (Securitas) on the outside of the property only.
We are on a well and septic system. Please only flush toilet paper.
